8 weeks 1 day pregnant.....with two!

Yes, everyone, that's right - two. Twins!! After 3 1/2 years of heartbreak and hormones, I finaly got that elusive "BFP". I'm not 100% sure how we got it to work this time - the new IF practice, the accupuncture, the weekly visits to church, the new regimen of medication or the feeling of utter despiration and feeling like we, as a couple, just couldn't go through another failed cycle. Our hearts were so bruised and battered - seeing our friends and co-workers get pregnant so easily, and working on their 2nd (or 3rd) child when we were still trying for our first.
We're over the moon excited (and maybe a little nervous). I felt so much better after my 2nd ultrasound. I was so afraid I would go for the u/s and find that one was a vanishing twin, but that is definitely not what happened. Both babies are measuring prefectly 8w0d (when they were really 7w6d) and both HR were in the 160s. It really hit me - we're finally pregnant - and we're lucky enough to have 2!!!
